SOA Literary Festival
From a humble beginning, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandh
SOA has established a centre dedicated to work for preservation, propagation and restoration of the country’s rich heritage and culture. Known as SOA Centre for Preservation, Propagation and Restoration of Ancient Culture and Heritage of India (PPRACHIN), it has been engaged in digitization of ancient texts and manuscripts and organizing workshops, seminars, symposia etc on literature, art and culture. It has already published 11 ‘parvas’ of the critical edition of Saroladas Mahabharatha.PPRA
PPRACHIN organised the two-day SOA Literary Festival in the university campus on February 1 and 2, 2020 which was attended by more than 100 eminent literary figures from across the country and provided a platform for discussing contemporary trends in Indian literature. The second SOA Literary Festival will be held in the university from November 24 to 26, 2023 which is expected to be graced by more than 200 eminent writers, poets and authors from different states.
