SOA Literary Festival
About
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), which has earned a name in academic excellence and research acumen, has its focus on the overall betterment of the society. It includes a blueprint for promoting the state’s culture and language. The SOA Centre for Preservation, Propagation and Restoration of Ancient Culture and Heritage of India (PPRACHIN), set up by SOA to achieve such goals, organized the 1st SOA Literary Festival in the university campus on February 1 and 2, 2020 which attracted a galaxy of litterateurs from across the country. The 2nd SOA Literary Festival is being organized by PPRACHIN from November 24 to 26, 2023 with more than 200 writers, poets, playwrights and critics expected to attend. This platform has greatly enthused the art and culture circles in the state providing the opportunity to budding writers to interact with giants in the field of literature, cinema and art.
