SOA Literary Festival

From The Founder

I am extremely glad to know that the SOA Centre for Preservation, Propagation and Restoration of Ancient Culture and Heritage of India (PPRACHIN) is organizing the third SOA Literary Festival from November 29-30, 2025

The first Literary Festival organized by PPRACHIN in February 2020 was attended by a galaxy of literary figures from across the country setting the stage for scholarly interaction and exchange of literary ideas and thoughts. Though the pandemic caused disruption in holding subsequent festivals, it could be held again in November 2023.

It is gratifying to note that the third edition of the festival is on the anvil.

SOA has been more focused on subjects dealing with science and technology, but one has to agree with Thomas Huxley who said: “Science and literature are not two things, but two sides of one thing.”

This festival, I believe, will provide an opportunity to our students and faculty members to take a peep into the minds of litterateurs who shape society’s thinking and explore new frontiers in literature.

I wish the festival all success.
